One standout feature of Ro'o Luwa is its commitment to authenticity. Customers rave about the Ayam Kampong Bakar, a grilled whole village chicken that has become a must-try dish. While priced at 150K, diners like Ahmad Soltani have noted that the quality justifies the cost, particularly highlighting the delicious local sambal that accompanies it. For those who can handle the heat, this is an experience not to be missed.
But the delights don’t end there. Ro'o Luwa also serves an impressive Nasi Goreng, which has garnered praise for its superior taste compared to other establishments in Tambolaka. It’s clear that the freshness and quality of ingredients are paramount here, as Yudhistira Rachmatigusti points out; every dish is made to order, ensuring that it arrives hot and flavorful.
For the curious culinary explorer, Ro'o Luwa offers a complete Sumbanese experience through their meal packages. With recommendations from satisfied customers like Maria Stephanie, this is the perfect way to dive deeper into the traditional flavors of the region. In addition to food, guests can enjoy refreshing authentic Sumba coffee and browse through a selection of local souvenirs, including ikat textiles and exquisite wood carvings, further enriching your visit.
The combination of traditional dishes like Ikan Asam Soup and Jantung Pisang makes this restaurant a beacon of local delicacy that shouldn't be overlooked. As Baxter Smith aptly noted, the restaurant also maintains a clean and inviting dining space, ensuring a pleasant culinary journey from start to finish.
In summary, Ro'o Luwa is not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those looking to savor the authentic tastes of Sumba. So whether you're a local or a traveler, prepare to indulge in flavors that are nothing short of extraordinary.
“ I'd say it's a must try place. Quite an authentic local food menu. The grilled whole village chicken (Ayam Kampong Bakar) is quite amazing, though expensive (150K) the local sambal was the best I had and for those who can take chilli, I'd say do not miss it. The fried rice (Nasi Goreng) was also nicer than a few other places in Tambolaka that I had the chance to try. ”
“ They have some of the most authentic menu around Lombok Barat, and the taste is really good. I really reccomend to anyone who want to taste the local delicacies to go to this place. The best part IMO, Ikan Asam Soup and Jantung Pisang. The serving will a bit longer because they make it as you ordered, so its fresh from the oven. Enjoy. ”
